Effective 4 November 2026 · DropLine route planner, made by Enterprise Analytic
Who we are
DropLine is made by Enterprise Analytic. Contact us about anything in this policy on WhatsApp or by text message at +91 99099 49254, or by email at sandip@enterpriseanalytic.com.
What stays on your phone
- Routes and stops: delivery addresses, parcel numbers and sizes, notes, pickup/delivery type, and delivered/failed/skipped status. They are stored only in the app's storage on your phone. Delete a route in the app, or uninstall the app, to remove them.
- Run sheet photos: photos you scan are read on the phone itself (Google ML Kit on Android, Apple Vision on iPhone). The photo is not uploaded, and it is not kept after you finish scanning.
- Address data: official address lists for your state may be downloaded and saved on the phone so search works without signal. This is public data, not information about you.
- Directions and map pictures saved with "Prepare for no signal".
- Settings: your chosen states, notification preference and similar choices.
Location
With your permission, DropLine uses your phone's location while the app is open to start routes from where you are, to suggest nearby addresses first, and for turn-by-turn navigation. Your location is not stored on any server by us. When you plan or navigate a route, your current position is sent to the routing service (see below) to calculate directions.
Information sent to other services
To work, the app contacts these services. Each receives your device's internet (IP) address as part of any internet request, and they handle it under their own policies:
- Routing (OSRM public server, Project OSRM / FOSSGIS): the map coordinates of your start and stops, to calculate travel times, the best order and turn-by-turn directions. Street addresses and customer names are not sent, only coordinates.
- Address search (Photon by Komoot, and Nominatim by the OpenStreetMap Foundation): the address text you type or import, only when it is not found in the address lists already in the app (official Australian addresses, and UK postcodes and addresses).
- Map pictures (OpenStreetMap tile servers): requests for the map areas you view or save.
- App and data hosting (GitHub Pages, GitHub Inc.): the app itself and the official address files are downloaded from GitHub's servers.
- Map software (Cloudflare cdnjs): the map component is downloaded from this network. Fonts are included with the app.
If you contact us (WhatsApp, text message or email), we receive your phone number or email address and what you write. A bug report adds technical details you can see before sending: app version, phone model and system, screen size, permission status, chosen states and the number of stops in the open route. It does not include addresses or customer details.
Anonymous usage statistics
To see which features are used and improve the app, DropLine sends anonymous usage events to PostHog (PostHog Inc., servers in the United States). Each phone gets a random ID that is not linked to your name, phone number or email. The events say which features were used and when, with counts and timings, for example "route optimised: 42 stops, 3 seconds" or "stop marked delivered", plus the app version and whether it is the iPhone or Android app. They never include addresses, customer details, notes, map coordinates or anything you type. They are not used for advertising and not sold. Turn them off at any time in Settings → Share anonymous usage stats.
Camera and notifications
The camera is used only when you scan a run sheet. Notifications are created by the app on your phone (for example "Run finished"); no notification server is used, and you can turn them off in the app's Settings or in your phone's Settings.
Customer information
Run sheets contain your customers' addresses. You are responsible for handling them under your employer's or client's rules. DropLine keeps them only on your phone and sends only map coordinates for routing, as described above.
Children
DropLine is a work tool for delivery drivers and is not intended for children.
Your choices and rights
- Turn off location, camera or notifications at any time in your phone's Settings, and turn off anonymous usage stats in the app's Settings.
- Delete routes in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stored.
- Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what personal information we hold about you (normally only emails you have sent us) and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us; if you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
- In the United Kingdom, under the UK GDPR you have the same rights to access, correct or delete information about you, and to object to the anonymous usage statistics (switch them off in Settings). If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Our lawful basis for the optional usage statistics is our legitimate interest in improving the app; for everything else, the app works on your phone and sends only what is needed to do what you ask.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Future versions of DropLine may add optional accounts or route sharing; this policy will be updated before such features are released.
